Tried to insert text in pic (this one sample) and keep getting this rubbish???? What the hell is it?

Auto insert as soon as I hit T key

I'm guessing PSE is Photoshop Elements, because Photoshop does the same thing. In the full Photoshop, you can turn off the placeholder text in Preferences, under Type.
