As the title said, I have some folder that I've downloaded and renamed before the download start, and I've forgot the "." at the end and now I've got Unspecified error 0x80004005 whenever I'm trying to remove it,
I've tried to redownload the folder but then it won't override it but rather just show me two folders even if I take one of them, I've heard it's basically explorer think the folder is still there or something.
Either way I've tried rmdir /q /s (or just remove it with the winrar trick) and it didn't worked,
Tried to restart, didn't worked,
Tried to use some app called Advanced renamer to rename the folder and it didn't worked,
Tried to change security group didn't work because it not let me even see it in the security tab,
Tried scanned the HDD for errors... didn't worked,
From the post here and more importantly here
They seemed to fix it by using other methods such as RemoveDirectory, but I'm a noob when it come to these and don't get the explanation,
Can someone help me out? even create the path for me so I could use these lines and just add the folder name in them?
It's basically located at
F:\Program Files\Downloads\Folder that ends with dot
Ofc if you know any other method or tool that can do that, please let me know,
Some said that bulkrename could do the trick but my other renamer tool didn't worked and Idk if bulkrename could do the trick either (nor sure if I'll know how to use it tbh).
